How each volume is made
My Handwritten Quran publishes this series; Amazon sells and delivers it. This page is the part that is ours to promise: what is printed on the page, and where it came from.
Where the Arabic comes from
Every page is set from the King Fahd Complex digital Hafs text, the same text the Madinah Mushaf sets. Nobody here types or edits an Arabic letter. The text is placed onto the page from that source and checked against it character by character; a build that cannot match its own output back to the source refuses to write a PDF at all.
The English under each word
The gloss printed beneath every Arabic word is the word-for-word translation by Dr. Shehnaz Shaikh and Ms. Kausar Khatri, first published in 2007 and used here under the blanket permission they grant. It is there so a reader who does not know Arabic can still follow what the line in front of them says, word by word, while they trace it.
How the series is divided
One volume per juz, thirty in all, each a workbook for that portion alone rather than an extract from a larger book. A companion Introduction and Practice Guide sits alongside them. Every volume is built, paginated and covered from the same source and the same pipeline, so juz 3 is put together exactly the way juz 30 is.
