What we collect

Nothing. This site has no account to open, no form to fill in, no newsletter and no analytics. You can read every page of it without telling us anything, and without us being able to find out.

What we collect

Nothing at all. There is no form anywhere on this site, no sign-up, no cookie, and no analytics or advertising script of any kind. We do not know who you are, we are not counting you, and we have nowhere to put your details even if you offered them.

The one exception is deliberate and it is you writing to us: if you email the address below, we obviously have your email address and whatever you chose to put in the message. We use it to answer you.

What your browser keeps

One thing, and it never leaves your computer. When the buy button works out which Amazon store to send you to, your browser remembers that choice so the site stops asking. It is stored by your own browser, we cannot read it, and clearing your browsing data removes it. It holds a country, nothing else.

What our host sees

This site is a set of fixed files served by a hosting company. Like every web host, theirs records ordinary server logs: the address a request came from, and which page it asked for. That is part of serving a website rather than something we collect, we do not use it to build a picture of anyone, and nothing on the page adds to it.

When you go to Amazon

Every buy button on this site is a link that takes you to Amazon, and the purchase happens entirely there. From the moment you arrive, you are on Amazon's site under Amazon's privacy notice, which is theirs to describe and not ours to summarise. Read it on their site. We are not told who bought anything, and we never see your payment details or your delivery address.

Asking us about this

If you want to know what we hold about you, the answer is almost certainly nothing, but ask and we will tell you plainly. Write to myhandwrittenquran@outlook.com.
